- Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Ethel Rohan now lives in San Francisco. She received her MFA in fiction from Mills College, Oakland. Great story! Your writing is so different than my writing and I love it. I learn the most from reading works by authors like that. There's a sheer truth and blatent nakedness of emotion that catches the reader.
